My camera died so I won't be taking photos for a while. I have a few images to upload but that's about it. Looks like the Chronicles will have to skip a few months. :(

Hey guys,

I was just randomly flipping throw the TV channels today and I landed on Jurassic park the Lost World. I started wondering, gee how cool it would be to go out and study the ecosystems of the world. Then I was like "Boy I really enjoyed watching and photo documenting the creatures who where at the milkweed patch. Then I thought about how fun it was to tinker around with my made up species and places. I would spend hours studying things from my own mind.

Then how I enjoyed learning about ecosystems and biology as a kid. I never really thought of any classes involving those things as work, but fun. I loved to learn and was sad when the classes would end. I recalled the wonderful interactive classes I had at a camp I used to go to every week for homeschooling where we would study all kinds of things. I would always be out looking at things, looking at small details and studying what was happening around me. Maybe glazing at a small patch of moss with tiny creatures on it or into a puddle with tadpoles and water bugs. And I still do.

Then it hit me. I've been wondering all my life what I wanted to do when I grew up and I guess it was to obvious that it never struck me. So I want you opinion. What would you say if I were to become a Zoologist or an Ecologist? Of course this is a huge idea and I'm really gonna need to think it through. Its probably going to be hard and cost a lot, luckily the college down the road has the right programs. And it probably won't happen for at least a year. But i think its something I would really enjoy doing.

So what you think?

Hey guys!

I'm so glad to announce the arrival of my first series The Milkweed Chronicles! Go here: [link]

After much time and photo taking I have gathered together the best of 08 and newly arrived 09 photos from life in the milkweed patch. I had a lot of fun and determination getting these shots. Getting up close an personal to fast fluttering butterflies, fleeing bugs and stinging bees was a challenge. I loved watching and studying all the creatures that lived there and visited. I hope to learn more and bring you more great images.

Stay tuned!

Any ideas, comments and crits are welcome

Note that I'm moving all things Allomal to its own page. [link] Please visit in a month or so when I have stuff up. :)

(In my spare time; Which isn't much)I'm trying to organized my stuff and redo a lot of my old creatures and make profiles for them. Seeing as I have probably around 400 creatures drawn, half done or in idea form in my Allomals folders alone this may take a while. (Like years, more if i keep doodling designs as much as I do.) But I hope to get two done a week. This includes redrawing, coloring, creating information about them, posting on my new DA and so forth. I'll also be working on my characters profile and design. And if I have time some comics and writing. But I see this all taking a long time, so small steps for now.

That's all for now. -hugs-

I also put my flowers in their own folder. I'll be uploading some more art and a ton more pictures. Keep your eye out for The Milkweed Chronicles. Its gonna be sweet.
