Pale green to brownish gray with black strips.
Size:
High on all fours about 4 to 4.5 feet tall, 85 to 1 and 30 pounds.

Very slender legs, body and neck
Adaptations:
Under its smooth frog like skin Itavoore has a sensory organ that can detect the slightest vibrations in the water or land around it. It also has powerful limbs which able it to swiftly jump away at a distance of 30 feet or more a bound.
Speed:
Top speeds of about 27 miles
Habitat:
Swamps, marshland and sometimes around ponds and rivers
Territories:
Since the area they live is rich with food territories are usually small for these lone living creature. About 7 acres or more. Only when there is a drought do things get more intense.
Life span:
If they make it to adulthood 10 to 14 years
Reproduction: In about 14 months of age both sexes are ready to mate. Females will come into heat 2 to 4 time a year. Males will fight over the rights of a female and mate with her over a period of a week. Females will often find different mates but sometimes choice to keep their partnership for a few seasons or more if he is in his prime. A month later a clutch of 10 to 17 eggs are laid in different areas of the surround females home.
The eggs are scentless and blend into their surrounding; often bumpy like rocks. The eggs hatch about 3 weeks later. The female will care for and protect the newborns for a up to a month and then will drive off her clutch away; which will live together as a group for another 5 to 8 months. The male and other related Itavoore may also defend the female’s area from predators if they live near by.

Itavoore is a rather shy and skittish creature yet has a low level of violence.
Life style:
Itavoore spends most of its life alone. Young can be found living in groups and mates living together for a few days.
