Hey guys,

I was just randomly flipping throw the TV channels today and I landed on Jurassic park the Lost World. I started wondering, gee how cool it would be to go out and study the ecosystems of the world. Then I was like "Boy I really enjoyed watching and photo documenting the creatures who where at the milkweed patch. Then I thought about how fun it was to tinker around with my made up species and places. I would spend hours studying things from my own mind.

Then how I enjoyed learning about ecosystems and biology as a kid. I never really thought of any classes involving those things as work, but fun. I loved to learn and was sad when the classes would end. I recalled the wonderful interactive classes I had at a camp I used to go to every week for homeschooling where we would study all kinds of things. I would always be out looking at things, looking at small details and studying what was happening around me. Maybe glazing at a small patch of moss with tiny creatures on it or into a puddle with tadpoles and water bugs. And I still do.

Then it hit me. I've been wondering all my life what I wanted to do when I grew up and I guess it was to obvious that it never struck me. So I want you opinion. What would you say if I were to become a Zoologist or an Ecologist? Of course this is a huge idea and I'm really gonna need to think it through. Its probably going to be hard and cost a lot, luckily the college down the road has the right programs. And it probably won't happen for at least a year. But i think its something I would really enjoy doing.

So what you think?
